Ingredients (for about 30 biscuits):
- 150 g cake wheat flour
- 150 g butter
- 50 g sugar
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 7 bags of Franck Forest Fruits tea
Extra:
- powdered sugar for sprinkling
Preparation:
Melt the butter over medium heat. Remove the contents from 5 bags of forest fruit tea and mix it into the butter, boil briefly (about a minute or two), turn off the heat and let the butter infuse for at least 15 minutes.
Strain through a thick strainer (press the contents with a spoon to drain as much butter as possible). You should get about 100 g of infused butter. Cool the butter so the butter re-solidifies.
Whisk the infused butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar, add the contents of an additional two bags of forest fruit tea, add the flour and mix everything together well. You will get a coarse crumbly mixture. Turn it onto the work surface and knead briefly with your hands until smooth.
Roll out to a thickness of 3 cm between two baking papers and cool well. Then remove the top baking paper and cut out the biscuits with a 4 cm round cutter. Place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper and cool briefly.
Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool briefly on a baking sheet, then move to a wire rack and cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with your favourite hot beverage.
